North uist Distillery
North Uist Distillery is an innovative B-Corp certified distillery based in the outer hebrides. Makers of the award-winning Downpour range of gins, NUD was recently named “Scottish gin Distillery of the year” for the second consecutive year, while their flagship Scottish dry gin was named ‘spirit of the year’ at the 2023 London Spirits Competitions. NUD start filed-to-bottle whisky production this summer using bere barley, an ancient grain grown traditionally in Uist.
